Atlanta-based photographer documenting life authentically and spontaneously.

I’ve always been “artistic” as long as I can remember, and forever have been labeled as the “creative” one growing up and all through school.  Born in Germany but raised in SC, and now call Atlanta home after 30+ years, I’ve worn many a professional hat but keep coming back to my creative side.  I love stories. And I adore imagery and image-making. Photography is a natural blend of all these, and I became serious about it when my son started kindergarten. With only one son, it was (is) important to me to capture all the “things” and milestones, no matter how little. Process and in-between moments are always my favorite.  I need images to help remember the settings, details, and story - so photos take on an even bigger role in that memory keeping.  Now, photographing others, how do I best convey their story through the lens and back to others? And is my story that I attempt to capture the real one? Is it true, does it reflect the moment, and is it authentic? This is always my goal.  And what I love creating.
